dr. C.M.H.B. (Carolien) Lucas

Ik studeerde geneeskunde aan de Vrije Universiteit Van Amsterdam. Mijn cardiologische carrière startte ik in 1992 na het afronden van een promotie-onderzoek in het Academisch ziekenhuis Maastricht. De opleiding tot cardioloog volgde ik in datzelfde ziekenhuis. Tijdens deze opleiding deed ik een stagejaar in hartfalen in het Brigham and Women’ s Hospital in Boston (VS). Sinds 2000 ben ik werkzaam in het Alrijne ziekenhuis op de locaties Leiderdorp en Alphen aan de Rijn.

Promotie

Oktober 1992: Promotie tot Doctor in de Geneeskunde. Titel van de thesis: 'The use of the latissimus dorsi muscle for cardiac as­sist'. Promo­tor: Prof.Dr. HJJ Wellens, Co-promotor Dr. Ir. FH Van der Veen.

Maart 1993:Winnaar van de ICI-prijs­ voor het beste Cardiologieproefschrift in Nederland in 1992.

2012: Postgraduate opleiding Health Care management Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
