dr. M.A. Hoving

Na de studie geneeskunde aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, heb ik de opleiding tot neuroloog gevolgd in het Maastricht Universitair Medisch Centrum. Tijdens de opleiding voerde ik een landelijk wetenschappelijk onderzoek uit naar de werking van intrathecale baclofen bij ernstig spastische kinderen. Dit leidde tot een proefschrift en promotie in 2008. Sinds 2008 werk ik met veel plezier als algemeen neuroloog voor volwassenen in het Alrijne Ziekenhuis. Mijn speciale aandachtsgebied is multipele sclerose, een ziekte waar we gelukkig steeds meer grip op krijgen. Ons hechte en enthousiaste team blijft het MS Centrum Alrijne uitbouwen om de zorg voor mensen met MS steeds verder te verbeteren.
