Met een uitgesproken voorliefde voor de laparoscopische gastro-intestinale chirurgie ben ik na het voltooien van mijn opleiding in 2008 twee jaar werkzaam geweest als fellow laparoscopische en gastro-intestinale chirurgie in het Meander Medisch Centrum (opleiders prof. dr IAMJ Broeders en dr EJ Consten). Hier heb ik me toe kunnen leggen op de laparoscopische anti-reflux en diafragma chirurgie, laparoscopische colorectale chirurgie, buikwandchirurgie en de ‘advanced’ proctologie
In 2010 ben in toegetreden tot de maatschap Chirurgie van het toenmalige Diaconessenhuis Leiden waar ik mijn expertise op de bovengenoemde deel gebieden heb kunnen uitbreiden in een goed team van toegewijde collega’s, waarbij de patiënt centraal staat.
